In this fourth issue, we get a Final overview of the main outcomes of our Periurban Parks project : Policy Recommendations, Common Methodology and Interactive Guide and  the Report entitled “Nature & Countryside within the urban Fringe. European periurban areas: Characterization and a management recommendations".

We get an overview of the 4 pilot projects carried out during the project: Košice Forests, Parco della Piana, Natural Park Drahan-Troja and Famagusta District-Agia Napa in Cyprus.

We interview  Josiane Bernard, Vice-president in charge of urban ecology and environment of the General Council of Seine-Saint-Denis, partner of the project. 

Finally, we have some short videos Periurban stories by the Regione Lombardia and the song "I'll be born as the wind" from Parco Nord Milano.

In this third issue of the Periurban Parks project newsletter, we get a taste of some of the Challenges and Solutions of some of our periurban parks in Funding, Social use vs. Nature preservation and Dealing with massive events issues.
We also get the personal view of three relevant politicians : Senhor Vereador Sá Fernandes, Responsible for Green Spaces in Lisboa; Mr. Antonis Tsokkos, Mayor of Ayia Napa - Larnaca District Development Agency; and, Ing. JiÅ�í Rom, City Hall - Department of Environment Protection, Prague.

In this second issue of the Periurban Parks project newsletter, we get a taste of some of the Challenges and Solutions of some of our Periurban parks in Territorial Planning, Infrastructures and Equipments issues. 
We also get the personal view of three relevant politicians: Daniel Schmidtmayer, General Director of Slovak Environmental Agency (SEA); Guido Podestà, President Province of Milan and President South Milan Agricoltural Park;  Slimane Tir, President of the Lille Metropole Natural Area (ENLM), Vice President of Lille Metropole Urban Community, President of FEDENATUR and Rocío Espinosa, Head of Natural Spaces from Andalucía.
